New saw.2025,bought new and they put chain on backwards and will not cut.runs great but having problem loosening pinwheel chain adjustment.flip up lever but cannot loosen it.too tight

If you can't even loosen it to get the chain off and put it back on properly take it back to the people who put the chain on backwards. That is absolutely ridiculous that a dealer puts a chain on backwards...they probably just tightened it too much...use a bigger screwdriver as to not strip the screw. It should never be that tight...they may even have the wrong size chain on it, check the chain package too , make sure its the right one for your bar......Take it back, If they can't loosen it easier and in a reasonable amount of time or you see them forcing it, demand a new saw. Seriously.

How do I put the chain back on a chainsaw?

you need to loosen the nut on the side of the chainsaw and then take the cover off. Remove the bar and take the chain off. Then put the chain back on the bar being careful about the direction of the chain. Place the chain back over the sprocket and lower the bar back onto the plate making sure the hole lines up with the adjusting mechanism on the cover. After you line up them up put the nuts back on and loosely tighten them. Adjust the chain where it is almost tight and then tighten up the nuts.

Chainm has popped . How do I put back on?

On the right side of the saw, where the chain disappears into the housing, there should be one or two nuts. These are what hold the Bar and Chain retainer plate on. Remove these two nuts, and the plate, the Bar, and the Chain will come off.

Now, just to put the chain Back on to the Bar, all you have to do is to LOOSEN these two nuts, and either right between them, or NEAR them is a FLAT-HEADED SCREW. Turn this screw to either LOOSEN, (retract) the Bar, or EXTEND the Bar. So, retact the bar, which loosens the chain, put the chain back on the bar, slowly extend the bar, by turning the screw, so that the chain gets tighter, then tighten back up the two nuts.

The chain should have a small amount of slack in it when you are finished. If you tighten it up too much, then it won't freely move, and will prematurely wear out your bar.

Good Luck.

How do you rePlace the chain on the 455 rancher?

You take the chain cover off of the bar. It is two nuts. Take them off and the cover will come off. Slide the bar toward you and the chain will become slack. You can then slide off the chain from the sprocket. To put a new one on. You will need to turn the chain adjustment back all the way to the left. Then put the chain back over the sprocket, then onto the bar. Put the chain cover back on and tighten the chain back up. Then tighten the two nuts back to tight.

How can I put chain back on my E200 razor electric scooter?Everything is in the way.

First your going to remove the deck.
Take off the chain tensioner
Next remove the motor and put the chain around the gear
Put the motor back on the scooter with the chain on
Then take the rear wheel off and put the chain into the gear.
Put the rear wheel back on along with the chain tensioner and deck
Your done!

Note: the reason why I say you have the remove the motor and wheel is the get the chain on. So you may only have to partial remove the motor or tires to get the chain on.
