Question about Toshiba Satellite A215-S5837 Notebook
Is the connector where you plug in from the outlet loose (not the plug but the whole jack)
if it is then it is likely that that solder connections for that power jack have broken loose from the motherboard (did it use to work if you wiggled it?)
2 solutions (
1) replace jack ( part costs less than $10, getting someone to take responsability for bringing a soldering iron anywhere near your motherboard is really f-ing expensive (you may find folks onine who wil do it for 60-70$
2) does this laptop have a docking port? Many docking stations also provide power to the laptop, (for older models this is usaully the cheaper option)
