How do i use a memory stick
How to use a memory stick or USB
I will assume you are using windows.
as you can see your USB memory stick has a metal connector with a plastic insert; that was made to fit in the connector
on the back or sides of computers.
the computer has several places to insert the memory but this device will fit properly in just the correct jack and it will go in in just one position, you can not turn it over and insert it.
after you do that windows will install the driver (software) for the device and it is going to open a window asking what do you want to do at this point you can click on any option but if you want to see your files or save files, click on the folder that says view files.
that opens the device, if it is brand new there would be no files. At that point you can drag all kinds of files in to the memory and store them.
the other option after you insert the memory, close the asking window and click on my computer from here you can see your memory stick, click on it and it will open, drag files to it or out of it in to your computer.
when you are creating documents or files you can save them in to your memory stick. Just click on file--save as--computer--memory stick (name or model)--save or ok.
when you are ready to disconnect your memory stick go to the clock area on the right corner, there is an icon of a connector with a green check mark click on that and then stop device, select your memory stick-stop, wait for confirmation and then you can unplug it >>>>failing to do this may damage your files or memory stick<<<<<<
if it works for you don't forget to rate me
