Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
Most likely you have in inadvertently deactivated the touch pad,
do you have an external mouse?
if so does it work
if yes (you have rebooted your pc at this point, right? if not do so now)
assuming the above look at your row of "F" keys (above the numbers, F1, F2 ect)
there is probably one that has a picture of something like a finger touching a box with a line through it
pick the one that looks the most like this and press it and the key to the left of the space bar that says FN (or some other variation of function on it) at the same time
does this solve the problem
if not try other keys in the F row along with the FN key
