Question about Canon imageCLASS MF6530 Monochrome Laser Copier/Printer

The toner was low, so I changed it. however, when I try to copy with a new toner it is still blank.

My al-1631 gives blank copies. just replaced toner. no warning lights of any kind. no message lights. it just prints out blank paper. could it be the drum? can't find instruction manual. purchased...


Was the copier working fine before you changed the cartridge? If so I think your cartridge is the problem. If it started making blank copies right after you changed it. If this is not the case the first thing I would say is it is not the drum. Try opening and closing the right side door. There are contacts in the door that will cause blank copies. I have had several customers do this and it fixed the problem. You can also try pulling out the toner and then pull the drum unit partially out and re-seat it. Then re-install the toner.

Incoming faxes are blank outgoing faxes work ok. toner has been changed


Hello sir; Try to make a copy, if copy is OK then replace a new phone cord .if copy not OK still blank, that's means high voltage supply board have problem.

Had toner life end message. Replaced toner and drum with oem,machine reset but now just making blank copies. Tried to print internal report that's blank too


To reset the sensor after installing a new toner cartridge follow these steps.
1. With unit powered On, open the front cover.
2. Press the "Options" key. Display will show "Replace Drum?"
3. Press "Start" key.
4. Press 1,0 .
5. Display will show "Accepted" for approximately 2 seconds. Then display will change to "Cover Open".
6. Close cover and see if Toner Life End error message has gone.
Please note that this must be done with a new cartridge so the unit will see that there is toner in the cartridge.

Canon ir1510 blank copy problem, and always showing toner level low indication... but toner and drum is new... whats a solution.. pls any one tel me..


check the hopper motor of the machine. the motor near behind the toner. check if it turns. open the front cover. check the cover for switch activation. activate the switch and make a copy if the toner bottle turns the hopper motor is ok.

If you just changed the toner cartridge, you probably forgot to remove the metal foil seal, from the side of the new toner cartridge.
