Hi,

This is not a good error at all.PF just means power failure. Disconnect the power supply for few minutes, say 15 minutes and then turn it on. If the problem persists, then unfortunately you have a bad display control board that will need to be replaced.

Let me know,i needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

    Thanks for your response!!

    Control board is the one that controls all the functions, just like brain in us. They could fail at any time. Even if you disconnect the power supply for few minutes, say 15 minutes and then turn it on, it might work for few more hours.

It sounds like the element is missing one side of the 240v power. One side may always be hot while other side is controlled. A qualified repairman can Start at the element and work backwards. Trace wiring back looking for burned wire, bad connections and connectors, all the way back to thermostat. Check thermostat for continuity (with power off), replace thermostat if necessary.

Pf code flashing on oven

PF = Power failure.

Usually all you have to do is press stop / cancel, then Clock then CLOCK again. After the time is set your microwave should work normally again.

If this does NOT correct your problem I need a complete model number in any future responses.
