How do i adjust the carb on an echo blower

Not sure what carb you have..You should be able to see a spring loaded air/gas adjustment screw on the carb..once running turn clockwise until motor starts bogging down then the other way until it does the same..keep adjusting back and forth unti it runs smooth..
you may have another on the bottom of the carb the same with it...if this doesn't work needs a rebuild kit..good luck..

If i pull back the trotal on my husku boy 50cc to fast it just bogs out and will cut out it never uste to do this it was siting it my shed for about 6 moths ive cleand the fiter and put fress 2 stroke...

With todays gasoline it turns to what is called varnish very rapidly and more than likely some of the fuel that set in the carb over those 6 months has turned into a gummy varnish so the carb probably needs cleaned, If it is not to bad you can probably adjust the carb with the air/fuel mixture screws and keep it running well till end of the season, shouldn't take more than 1/8 to 1/4 turn though. I hope this helps

My blower just stalled and will not run it is less than a year old and now the pull cord is very tight but it will turn and start but it will not run for mor than a few seconds

Have you changed the fuel.? If it had been stored for a long time with fuel in it then it could have gone stale and will need replacing. Also the 2 stroke oil can gum up carbs as the fuel left in it evaporates. Possibly clean carb, check fuel is getting into the cylinder.

What oil goes in crankcase of poulan leaf blower

Are you sure this is a four stroke engine, i thought all the small blowers were two strokes in which case there is no oil in the crankcase, the lubrication is mixed with the fuel

My 2 stroke craftsman leaf blower won't keep running

all crafsman carbs are adjusted to meet EPA standards-- problem is they work well new buntil the next season then they ****. they have a HI-LOW adjustment on the carb at the top. but they are set into a wall surronding them. speacial tool needed to adjust. so they want you to bring it in . so they can nail you for a hundred bucks. my solution was after looking at this was to takea 1/4 in socket as it's called a deep dwell--- use a four MM --- grind down the outer wall of the socket untill it fits down on to the adjust. screw. turn each screw 1/4 turn counter-clockwise. but no more at this point. use good gas and the right amount of mix. mine is 40/1. check the fuel filter clean it --blow though it see if it's pushing air. clean air filter and use a new plug each year. mine is gapped at .35. maybe even shoot a little carb cleaner in the carb to flush it out. and if that don't work. pray your warranty is still good.

I have a 2 stroke engineer leaf blower that will not start. I have spark and using starter fluid gets it going but it quits. I know I have gas getting into the carb. - I think problem is probably in...

Paul, fix the old carb. They can gum up and sometimes need to soak (disassembled and soft parts removed, like the float, gaskets and inlet valve.)in carb cleaner and then be blown out with compressed air.

Bogs down at full thouldel tryed to adjust carberator

This is either a clogged muffler or carb. Take the off and see if it will rev. If not you need to clean carb and install a carb repair kit. Do not run long with muffler off.

How do I adjust needle valves on a 25cc Homelite UT08111A Backpack leaf blower?

Set the lowend & highend needles to about 1 3/4 to 2 turns each. Choke the carb or prime it, until the carb is wet. Fire up the engine and let it warm up. Let's set the topend first since it's the easier of the two. Go to full throttle. Adjust the topend needle for peak RPM. Leave it wide open for about a minute to see if it changes any. Should the engine go lean, open the lowend needle slightly, if this dosen't work... you will have to adjust the needle valve inside the carb.( I will explain this later) If the topend runs OK, then slowly pull the throttle down until the engine begins to "four cycle" hold the throttle there. Adjust the lowend needle until the "four cycling" barely stops. Now lower the throttle more until it "four cycles" again, and adjust the lowend again. Keep doing this until you reach full idle. Now, from full idle begin to throttle up until the engine starts to bog or hesitate. Open up the lowend needle just enough to eliminate the bog or hesitation.

hope this helps :)

My leaf blower starts up fine but when I advance choke to its 3rd setting which is all the way open and try to raise throtle it dies out and have to close choke to keep running.

Sounds like a carb issue. Try spraying carb and choke cleaner while it is running. If that does not help may be remove carb and clean and rebuild it. My weed eater does same thing and I get it running and then spray it down. It takes a couple of sprayings but it helps.

Good luck
