Question about Arcsoft Computers & Internet

The program is not responding ( Print Creation Pages and Scrapbooks)and I can't print my album pages anymore.

    Oh yes. That was the first thing that i did. No progrees whatsoever. I tried that before with some other software and it worked out pretty good. But unfortunately,not this time. I have the CD (ArcSoft Print Creations Pages & Scrapbooks) and I thought that woulb be the most simple solution...but,again,it did not worked out. My Operating System is Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 (32 bit)and my PC is made by Gateway.(3GB Memory RAM) AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-CoreProcessor 2.20 GHz. It's avery good machine...My Printer is a HPDeskjet 9800 and also is a very powerful printer.Never had any problems with it before. I actually was able to print very good pages with this software... I tried everything that I possibly could ( check the "queue", Printer preferences, etc...) Nothing was diferent. The printer just does not want print the pages. The power buttom just keep flashing.That is it.When I try to print somenthingelse-it work normally. Very usual behavior.Never saw it before...Can you please help me to find out what is going on here?     Thank you so much for the suggestions.I'll definetely try to re-install the printer and do the job in another computer.I'llbe able to do yhat to the next few days since i won't be able to do today. Thanks a lot for your time and your attention in this matter.I'll keep you informed of my progress.

Firstly,
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Also what exact error are you getting when trying to print?

    Well there are a lot of things you can try at this point. Now are you getting any error at all when you print from this program? After you print does your job come up int the print queue? If so what does it say? Have you tried reinstalling your printer, even though I suspect that is not the problem. Another thing you may want to try and do to isolate the problem is install the software on a different computer, take one of your files that you are trying to print with the software now and transfer it to the other computer with the software and see if that computer has any problem printing. Also I would definitely recommend contacting arcsoft directly and let them know of the issue your having as they may have already had this issue brought up and know the exact fix or even have a patch available. you need not update firmware for this model. Pl. do the printer status monitor(SMART PANEL). Down load from samsung site and run inpc application. when print command given it will display the problem.

If your printer aged much, pl. check the smps one elctrolytic capcitor 1500mf 10v at sec. may be leaky also the power capacitor at primery(68mf-120mf/400v) replace these. also clean hvps and its contact points.

when you go to "print" a box should open asking if you want to print "all" or "pages" . click on "page" and then click "1" then you wont get the trailing page.

ES 5300 only prints left side


From the program you print the document (MS Word, Acrobat Reader or another one?) go to File and select the Print... or Print Properties option (depending on what program you print from). Then, go through the option and look for an option that says something like "Print Odd Pages" or Print Even Pages". As you're describing the situation, it seems that either the program you use, or the printer control panel, is set to print only odd or only even pages. So you'll need to find this setting and switch to Print All Pages or something along those lines. The labels and wording of these settings depend on the program you want to print from, so expect that you'll need some looking around to do before you find this setting.

MY printer stopped working from on day to the next...the problem is when I print out a photo from IPhoto or Preview on my IMac OSX10.4.11 it starts with a large margin which doesn't allow for the complete...

Large photos are printed differently than regular photos.

Photos that have large resolutions or are best when printed in larger sizes are sometimes printed on multiple pages. Printing the photo on two or more pages requires setting up the printing options so that the printer recognizes how the photo should print and which areas to stop printing on each page.

Open the photo in iphoto

Select "File" and scroll down the list until reaching "Print". Click on "Print" and wait for the printing set up options. Some programs require selecting "Set up" or "Print set up" instead of "Print." Make sure the set up options are brought up according to the program.

Select "Time Imageable Table" or similar options in the program. If there is not an option with a similar title, look over the various titles and any pictures that come with the titles and see if the pictures show multiple pages or only a single page. Click on the options that allow printing one photo on multiple pages.

Select overlap options, which give margins so that connecting the pages forms the picture. Overlap around 1/2 inch or so.

Print the photo. The number of pages should match the set up options selected under the imageable table.

My epson px700w will print full 3 pages out of 4 and the fourth one will be half a print. also when i print a disc it will only print 2 thirds of the way down.


I'm sorry I have no answer but I also have the same printer with exactly the same problem. I have tried new cartridges. The same problem occurs with b+w printing and colour. I've tried both wireless and usb connection. It will print a single 4x6 colour print but will NOT finish a 5x7 print. It will print 3 pages of document but will not complete 4 pages consecutively. If you ask it to print 1 page and send the message 4 times through the print dialogue it will print that. Very frustrating. Have you tried epson support site. I have found that their website won't respond when I input the model number.

Im trying to print a document in word thats about 200 pages and i just want to print only 4 of them and whn i print it says it prints in the box but nothing comes out the printer but when i try another...

Alrite now, firstly, since you need only 4 pages of the 200pg document, go to File > Print > Select page range (e.g. 1-4, 51-54, etc)
Then print and make sure you have pages loaded in tray 1.

You can also have papers in tray 2. If MS Word does not respond, then change the drivers to UPD (http://www.hp.com/go/upd), the system may have legacy drivers or An earlier version of firmware.

I believe it is a Windows problem and not a printer problem. Try to print from a different application, to see if it is working.

Printer photo paper


Scrapbooks work very well and they come in such beautiful sets of ornamentation etc. that you can create a beautiful wedding album. Or you can purchase a beautiful 3 ring binder and use the more expensive plastic sleeves that are sturdy and insert all of your 8 X11 pages into them. Or you can make every document or photo that you print 8x10 by setting up your printer to print that way. Good luck to you!!

Prints an extra sheet with specs on font, characters ....

click the printer button (shown above) and in the menu there will be an option to print banner page.
please turn this off
that should fix your problem.
