SOURCE: i've canon power shot SX120 IS, when press on/off

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ... Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to this can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some things that you can do that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try.

Your exact problem / model is right there on their site under their service packages. Good luck with the problem on the camera.

Help with unlock memory card locked problem on Canon PowerShot SX120 IS

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

I have a canon power shot sx120 is, I have tried to take take or delete pictures, I get a message that says "card locked", how do I unlock the card?

Remove the memory card from the camera, look along the one edge and you will see a tiny switch, slide it towards the contacts to unlock the card. the switch that is in the furthest position from the contacts is in the locked position to prevent deletion of pictures. Now! if the card is already unlocked slide the switch back and forth to reset the card, if that fails replace it.

Have you tried to reset to original settings in the setup window. I would try that maybe..
If that doesn't work then its probably an issue with your sensor unit which is apart of your lens.
