I got every solution in the book and tried them. I learned that the simplest solution is always the best. I was getting the same messages.
Make sure the "Media Server" on your PS3 is set on "disabled"
Make sure that UpNp is "disabled" on router. (I know that previous answer said opposit but I am just saying what worked for me).
The key really seemed to be disabling the media server. Try it and let me know. As I said, I tried all the complex solutions and think it was just the media server.
Renew your DNS configuration or change the DNS settings to Obtain DNS server address automatically.You can change that in your network connection settings.
ive got kind of the same problem....but my problem is....ive created an account and the internet is working fine on the ps3....but it says i need to upgrade the game (resistance & Motorstorm) to go online....and like half-way through the upgrade process it always says it failed to complete....any ideas??
