Hi,on most of the DVD players regional set up cannot be changed.
As an easy solution ,you can play them in your Laptop and with proper connection you can watch them on your TV as well..

Hope this helps! Take care and please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up for me to continue for Helping out the Community :)
Thanks

DVD region codes are a digital-rights management technique designed to allow film distributors to control aspects of a release, including content, release date, and price, according to the region.DVD video discs may be encoded with a region code restricting the area of the world in which they can be played.

The American DVD Copy Control Association in California requires that DVD-player manufacturers incorporate the regional-playback control (RPC) system - according to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, an Australian government agency.[1]

There are six different official regions and two informal variations.[citation needed] DVDs may use one code, a combination of codes (Multi-Region), most codes (Region 0) or every code/no codes (Region All). The commercial DVD player specification requires that a player to be sold in a given place not play discs encoded for a different region; however, region-free DVD players are also commercially available.[2] In addition, many DVD players can be modified to be region-free, allowing playback of all discs.[3]

I tried putting a new DVD into my player ( Kenwood DVF-3080) It's asking me for Parental Control Limit code. I've never set parental controls due to the fact that I have no children. Other DVD's play...

If all the other DVD s you have work fine it could be misreading the DVD try fully RESETTING the power to the DVD Player by removing the power plug from the Wall, if the problem is still there and all the other DVD s you have work just fine then the problem is with that one DVD you have let me know if you need any more help.

Cannot play my dvd,s in my geoghraphic region of the world.

There are a couple ways to go about changing your region on your DVD player. First is this program:
DVD Region+CSS Free - Watch & Copy Any DVD!
US$ 39.95

dvd-region-free-b.gif Tell Friend
DVD Region+CSS Free enables you to watch and copy any region-coded/CSS-encrypted DVD movies on any DVD drive! It fully supports region-protected (RPC2) DVD drives, and does not require any firmware modifications. It will even work if you have used up your region counter and can no longer change the DVD drive's region.

DVD Region+CSS Free works automatically in the background to make a DVD appear region code free and unprotected to any DVD player and DVD copy software. With the help of DVD Region+CSS Free, you can watch any region coded DVD movies with a software DVD player like PowerDVD or WinDVD! With DVD Region+CSS Free's help, DVD copy software (such as DVDFab, DVD X Copy, InterVideo DVD Copy, etc.) is able to copy DVD's which are CSS protected!

New Feature: DVD Region+CSS Free decrypts not just DVD's, it now allows you also to play, copy and rip protected Audio CD's!
Download DVD Region+CSS Free

SECONDLY, You can enter a code on the player that will set it to a certain region. You can find your code at this website: http://www.dvdcodes.net
If it is not on this list, you can also try this site for more codes: http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/multiregion/hackable.asp

This site will give you instructions on how to enter the hack code depending on your brand name player: http://www.dvd365.net/?hacks/pacific.htm

DVD stuck

well, many dvd players do that unfortunately there is nothing to do except for waiting the player until it finishes reading. for once, I've had the same problem with my philips, it has just insisted on not giving that DVD back to me. I recommend that you set the player to standby mode for a while then push the eject button "insistently" as soon as it gets turned on.
