I just got optimum online and I wanted to use my FriendlyNet FH105T5 hub to network the internet to my Mac (OS 10.4.11), my Pc( Windows 7), and my xbox- latest software), at best I've only been able to get 1 device at a time to work with the internet. Right now I'm using my PC. What can I do to get the internet to all of these devices?

Assuming that this internet service has 1 ip address that is being payed for?
Then only one device can be connected at any one time for use of the internet.
A router would be the FIX for this issue. Your HUB can still be used, but only
if it's connected to a port on the Router. Both wired and wireless routers commonly
have 4 ports like your HUB..

I cannot find a driver or SW package for Windows 7.

I have the same problem. This is what Tripp Lite told me: "We have tested the existing drivers for the US-4A on both Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.6.2. Neither Windows7 nor Mac OS 10.6.2 functioned with the USB server products (US-4A and U2S-2A) while utilizing current drivers. I suspect that this is due to the fact that both OS' appear to have undertaken a major overhaul over their prior counterparts (XP, Vista, 10.5.X). In order for functionality to exist between the operating systems (in this case Win 7 and Mac OS 10.6.X) new drivers would need to be released. At this point, there is no plan to move forward with drivers to accommodate these operating systems."

I told them I was not impressed and that this lack of support would affect any future purchases of thier products.

Installation CD or Drivers

Hi dj,
That hub doesn't require any drivers. You can get the manual here. Second link down, http://www.google.com/search?q=+FriendlyNET+FH10T5+&hl=en&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&start=10&sa=N
A hub just shares connections between computers. Don't try using it as router.
Good Luck,

Connection problem between modem router and hub

Sounds like you may need what is called a "Crossover Cable' connecting your router to your hub, or if either device has an uplink port, use it on one device to connect to normal port on other device. Here are instructions for making your own cables: http://www.lanshack.com/make-cat5E.aspx
