Question about Crosley CELEBRITY ENTERTAINMENT CENTER Shelf System
Everything else on the entertainment center works fine- the radio, cd player, and cassette player. When we turn to the record player, though, it turns on and has the ability to make sound- scratches when needle is moved- but the record won't spin. I'm hoping this is just a user error.
It helped enough. it gave us an idea of what was wrong. thank you. :-)

There's one way to check the motor. Take it out and connect a battery (if it's over 9 volts a PP9 should do it.) if it don't turn it's dead!
Then try CPC online parts people.

get a butter knife and force the cd tray to open try not to force to hard that it breaks but enough that it might kick in the eject by itself
