On the link below is a woods timer. If it is yours you can scroll down to product details to get the manual.

    http://www.amazon.com/Woods-59377-Digita...

Here are woods timers: https://www.ccixpress.com/webapp/wcs...=... very bottom of page.

Or if it is a timer with a round face and pins then here is how to set that one.

The instructions for the IIIWoods Outdoor Timer must have been written by someone would never operated the unit. The first instruction should have read: "Pull all the pins up!!!" Then set the the correct time by turning the dial. Then set the 'off' time by pushing ALL the pins down corresponding to the OFF period. ETC. Leave all the rest up as they should correspond to the ON period.

    Good Luck

Simple instructions on how to operate an arlec timer switch which is older style and manual. It plugs into a power point.

Timer is not identified. Read through possibles options below:

Add a comment with simple description of the timer for possible identification of product and possible instruction.

If you have analog dial timer, then open following link for instructions:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-set-timers.html

Following link shows a variety of arlec timers: each timer has instruction manual that expert can access. Add a comment and say which of these timers is same-similar to your timer, and then say what part of manual is confusing.
http://www.arlec.com.au/productCatalogues.aspx?ParentCatalogueID=4&catalogueID=5&Page=1

I have an ET104CP and cannot read the instructions, therefore I need an instruction manual or the step to program one-(1) event both on and off.

Thank you for including model number of product.

-One confusing part of ET104CP 24-hour timer is that event1 is ON and event2 is OFF and event3 is ON, and event4 is OFF etc.
-Another confusing part is that on-line manual says: "Refer to programming instructions on time switch door."
-So if timer door has gotten wet or paper has aged, then key instructions are missing unless you have new timer in front of you.
-Last confusing part can be selector switches.
To program timer, selectors are set to Manual and RUN
To operate timer programs, selectors are set to AUTO and RUN

1) Manual for product appears below:
http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/products/instructions/timers/et104c%20-%20english.ashx

2) According to manual, you put timer in Manual and RUN and then press and hold reset button, and then event1 will display.
Guessing at this point, press hour and minute button to set event1 ON
Press event button again to display event2, and then press hour and minute
Make sure events do not conflict with each other or timer will not operate

3) If instructions in #2 above are not correct, then add a comment and write out what is printed on your timer door, I can work alongside you to help decipher

4) If timer instructions on door panel have gotten wet and are unreadable, then contact Intermatic directly.

Rotate dial until current time lines up with arrowhead; when plugged in, dial rotates
48 segments located on dial; each segment is 1/2 hour
Segment pulled up = lights OFF
Segment down = lights ON
Override switch located top of timer, move switch to TIMER

If this is not your timer, then add a comment
