My Oster toaster oven heating element wont turn off when ready?

A faulty thermostat or temperature sensor could be the cause of your Oster toaster oven's heating element not turning off when ready. You can try the following steps to fix the problem:
  • Check the settings for the temperature control: Check to see that the thermostat is not set too high. The heating element may not turn off even when the desired temperature is reached if it is set too high.
  • Get the toaster oven clean: Check to see that the toaster oven is clean and free of obstructions. The heating element may occasionally malfunction due to dirt and debris. You can get oven cleaner, https://amzn.to/3xlDd86 .
  • Check the temperature: The thermostat or temperature sensor may be defective if the problem persists. To fix the problem, you might need to buy a new thermostat or temperature sensor.
  • Contact Oster's support team: You can get assistance from Oster customer service if the problem persists after attempting the steps listed above. They might be able to offer you a solution or point you in the direction of a repair company.

Our Oster toaster-oven (Model 6232) takes a long time to heat up. The heating elements are no longer bright red but rather heat up to a "dull" red. Might the problem be related to the thermostat...

You might try going to oster.com. After putting in your country, at the top of the page click on Customer Service and fill in where you live and you will get a list of service centers that you could check with. If you know what needs replaced and can do it yourself, then use this address to get parts. This will give you a list of sites that sell parts. Maybe just get both parts to see which it is.

Oven does not work the element does not heat up

Consider replacing the element. See if Oster has a website where you can check. Also, here is an address that has a list of sites that sell oven parts and maybe one of them has the right element.

Intermittently won't come on, now fails to work at all.

Your timer switch is going bad and will soon stop working alltogether. If the switch is a model DKJ/1-60 you will not find one, however, there is a switch made for Delonghi that will work. Go to The Gourmet Depot website and look for switch part # 05XDE5218104600. If you have a different switch look on smallapplianceparts.com for your part or search "small appliance parts" for a few other places that sell these parts.

Heating units bottom stopped working. Then the top heating bars stopped working. It's a radiant oven.

it is several prosibilites for your problem:
1) the wire of the oven is damaged;
2) the thermostat is decalibrated or damaged;
3) one or more heating element is intrerupted or burned.
solution's:
1) check the wire an replace or repair where is posible whit similar heat resistant wire;
2) replace the thermostat whit similar one;
3) replace the heating element
