I wonder if you were ever able to resolve your problem... I have a2000 ML 320 witht he same Bose issue... I get an error msg: TAPE TOO TIGHT... It won't even play and I get that same clicking sound when I try to eject... When I first purchased vehicle (used in 2002) I had the problem and the dealership assured me that they replaced the stereo with a new one...I never really tired it again until more than a year later and the same thing happened... Of course I was out of warranty at that time and I can't help, but to wonder if they really ever changed the stereo, or if they just removed the cassette.... If any has the solution, please contact me via email: email@example.com
