Question about LG 22" FLATRON LCD Monitor
This a problem with the VGA card in the moniter. The part number you require are Manufacturer Part Number EBU59489401
Board Numbers 791501300700R
For a replacement card. Mine would work ok till used sleep mode or sized screen then loop on off. As less than 3 years unlikey to be the inverter caps. The w2234s is very easy to dissamble and check, has no screws, holding out casing together. However don't dis charge it's capacitors so keep finger to the side of the internal power board! Work ok once fitted new moniter VGA module, hence inverter was ok. other name for moniter VGA is 'main PCB' , stops confusion with the PC VGA card, in the PC. It's the other end ~ that need changing not the PC end!

You can take it apart and inspect for bulging capacitors - the tops should be perfectly flat. Even a slight bulge at the top is an indication that the capacitor is bad.
