SOURCE: output board for Altec Lansing ADA995

I had the same problem. One day I heard two pops and the speaker, including the power light, were dead. Neither Dell nor Altec Lansing support them. They're throw-aways, unless you know a genius electronics technician.

SOURCE: Finding replacement Power Supply for Altec Lansing

I did the same! Thanks for suggesting a call to Customer Support (800)258+3288. The guy didn't seem overly pleased to help, but he did promise to send me a new power supply. Also, he said that they don't make the iM7 anymore, but I had already found out that the iM9 uses the same power supply. I, too, will wait and see.

SOURCE: Need the pairing code for bluetooth device to my Altec Lansing

Hi if your intentions are too connect your Phone to that bluetooth device , The paring code is what you make it , when you connect the two device's together , When you search for devices it will ask you to pair with that device , and you make the code anything you wish....Otherwise have a look at the manual under connection , it should have .
I hope this helped bud

Hi, I got Altec Lansing Speakers VS4121, and when I plug it in the audio jack, my computer doesn't even recognize them, can you help me please ?

Check the audio by inserting headphone in the audio jack to make sure that the jack is functional. if it is not, check the sound driver (START>Control Panel>Sound) to make sure it is on and the vollume is turned up.
What is version of the operating system are you using? Do you have a separate sound board or is it integrated into the motherboard? Do you have the manufacturer of the system and the model number so that i can recommend drivers if they are necessary?
Thanks.

My Altec Lansing VS4121 played excellent sound, even at high volume untill recently. A friend had borrowed them for weeks and I got them back recently. Played music to find out that sound of main woofer...

Hi there,
I think that some wirings inside the main woofer or the tray holding it might have loosed. It could be the speakers were accidentally dropped or anything.
You can bring it to a local store Best Buy, Staples, etc. have it checked by one of them technicians or to see if it can be put back to it's place. I'm no speakers expert but that's the only reason I could think of.
If you are comfortable opening the speaker covers and checking inside the speakers then you can also try to check for some loose parts.
Hope this helps!

It is unlikely that this is a problem with your speakers more likely that it is a problem with the DVD player itself. I would recomend trying another DVD player.
