Its because of front panel switches get stuck, resolder them and try to change channel by manual switch, It will solve your problem; if Not, replace those micro switches of front panel you can get them from local electricals shop. Its really works , I have tried It.

Hello

http://www.fixya.com/support/r10192276-cleaning_remote_control_handsets

If remote control functions proeerly, the front panesl switches to be suspected. If any one mong the microswitches inside got strucked, all functions will be distrubed. it will be best to follow any more after replacing these microswitches. These switches can be located just behind the control panel of the tv, soldered diretly to a printed circuit board. You have to replace all of the at the same time. Just undolder one amoung them as as sample, when you go to buy for a new one.
If this also does not help you, repalce its memory IC. This IC can be located very near to the main system control IC, will have 8 solder terminals. A very small IC and wont cost more. Eventhough it is very small, function of it when the set works is great. Replace it. When you buy this IC, make a keen look on it number. It is very important when replacing this IC. All these components stated above, can be bought from most of the electronic spare part selling shops st your town. OK.

Dear Sir, I have AIWA A219 TV. No remote functions are working, even manual switches are also not functioning, It got stuck on One channel, The error which is coming on screen is AGING 6C6CH pls...

It seems to me that the PROCESSOR is not working which is the reason that the remote IR sensor and no channels are moving.
Hence check on the +5 volt on the processor , check the oscillation at the crystal, check input /ouput data/ clock to confirm the processor controller.

Hello
Its front panel microswitches are struk. These can be replaced. They are microswitches, which can be resoldered out from the front panel board. For this, you have to open your TV, take out the front panel after unscrewing it from the cabin, desolder one out of it and go with that microswitch as sample. You can bought it from electronic spare part shops at your town. Buy all of them and replace all at same time. This will solve your TVs problem. OK.

Hi, I have an Aiwa A219 KE 21" color TV. Of late

Yes you have a dry joints on the croma, neck board section.
You need to resolder the cold solder first on the neck board (connected to the tube).
Then if nothing work there try to trace the connection of the wire from the neck to the main board.
Look for the dry joints around.Sometimes it is hard to spot so I've advice you to used a magnifying glass.
Thanks for using fixya.

have Aiwa TV MODEL No. TV-A209
The problem that I am suddenly facing is that I can't change channels or volume or use any other function. I can't even turn it off with remote control.

Its stuck randomly on a particular channel that I was watching at that point of time.

Along with that channel it now shows a message in flashing red color that reads :-
AGING
O6895H

Now when I press ''Display'' button on remote control volume goes off and this code is shown :-
S123 K234 Y
000 001 1

The numbers in the second line can be navigated by ''CH+'' button and changed between 0 and 1 by ''Vol+'' button.

I really don't know anything about this. So, please help me out of this problem.
