Question about NetGear RangeMax Dual-Band Wireless-N Router with 4-Port Ethernet Switch
I have set up my wireless connection to have a WEP key but as soon as i turn on my xbox or ps3 or my laptop it automatically connects to my wireless router and no password is required. My settings for the WEP key was saved but everything connects directly and i have never need to enter the password not even when i first set up the whole thing. how can i lock it so that only my items can go online and not my neighbors or friends unless they use my password (if i want to give it to them).????? pls help.
This is simple.....
Try to create a name for your wireless network.. and try the WPA encryption and not WEP which is not secure....
was i helpful enough?
I had the same problem, now i have none...............
and find out how............ Check out the ONSPEED banner
and also run a PING TEST. Good Luck
