Usb receiver driver

Usually the mouse and receiver come as one package? Depending on your Computer OS, you don't need a driver to install a USB mouse, it's usually Plug and Play. Perhaps I am not understanding your question.

GE wirless Keyboard & mouse 98552: Worked great, changed mouse batteries, now it won't reconnect. Press the connect button on bottom of mouse... no luck?

You also need to click on the receiver button. After the receiver button is clicked then you would need to click the mouse button located under the mouse. If all of this was done try replacing the batteries again with a new set of batteries. I've seen new batteries not work before that has died while sitting in it's package.

Need help with my mouse - do I need a receiver ?

Unless your mouse uses Bluetooth (should be printed on the packaging or at least have a Bluetooth logo on the mouse itself) you need a receiver that plugs into either your computers PS/2 or USB port. If you do not have the receiver it is usually cheaper just to buy a new wireless optical mouse.

Not working

This does not give much detail.
Is the light on in the optical mouse?
Is the USB receiver plugged in?
Can you see the receiver in Device Manager? Device Manager is on MY Computer->right click and choose properties. Select hardware and device manager.
You should see the device appear and disappear as you insert and remove the receiver. If not, the receiver is shot.
Use two batteries from the same package to replace the batteries in your mouse. You can clean the battery contacts with 99% alcohol (Not rubbing alcohol!)
If all this fails, replace the mouse.

Keyboard Keys Don't Work

Microsoft keyboards do need software installed, it's called Microsoft IntelliPoint (for mouse), and Microsoft IntelliType (for keyboard).

There should be a button on the USB receiver that plugs into your computer. Push it. It should start blinking.

Next, turn your keyboard upside down, and look for a button. It should be pretty easy to find, probably white, and it has some etchings nearby. Press that button, and hold your keyboard up close to the usb receiver.

There is also a similar button on the bottom of your mouse. Do the same thing for the mouse: push the usb button, then push the button on the bottom of the mouse, and hold it close to the usb receiver.

62150 keyboard and mouse

I have the same product. There seems to be no answers to these posts because there is no known fix for the problems being experienced. No software in package, product doesn't work. DO NOT BUY!! If I hadn't left it in the package for so long and lost the reciept I would return this product. Right now the mouse is working fine for me, but the keyboard won't stay connected for longer than about 10 seconds of use, then craps out and doesn't work. Brand new energizer batteries in both units and all. I think the people that made this product are just cheap and can't provide a solution to their crappy product, hence why it was so cheap. Can anyone say RIPOFF?

Either fix the problem, order a recall, SOMETHING, or I will never buy a product from this company again, if I don't do that already.

If anyone has the m REAL manual (not the one provided for this product on the maker's website) please post how to properly connect the keyboard and mouse via the ID select buttons. Maybe that might fix the problem if there's a certain way it has to be connected, or a certain order they have to be done in. The manual provided on the maker's website says product # 62150 automatically detects and configures itself, but as we all know this is a load of ****. If anyone has any other helpful advice, I'm all ears.
