Re: no mouse,no keyboard, and no monitor?
Back up everything important you have like pictures, songs, documents .
then go for a restore
you might have got restore discs along with the computer use them and take the system back to day one
you will loose everything you put on the system but you will have to back up data first.

I may not be understanding your problem but it could be as simple as a sticky key. Most keyboards have keys that can pop off for cleaning. And if you can't clean it enough you can take it in to have it cleaned or buy and new keyboard. The computer air cleaner in a can. Don't remember what they are called but it shoots frosty pressurized air to the dusty or sticky area and drys instantly. When I see a computer is going haywire a good cleaning of the cob-webs, dust and sticky residue makes any computer run better as well as clean out your computer's fan system which prevents components from getting too hot or wires melting or shorting out.
It will need some etra software to facilitate this though, unless you connect you two computers over a network (eg a LAN) and simply slave your laptop to the desktop's control (desktop 'takes over' the laptop - ms support sometimes do this over the internet when trying to solve problems - they see you your screen on theirs and the keyboard and mouse are remotely located, and you see the mouse pointer and typed characters just appear, controlled by the MS operative. This not the same thing as using your screen, because they are using your computer, not their own).
Back to the software. There are several programs you may have to buy some others may be free.

No signal at the monitor indicates (if you know the monitor is working ok) a failure of the graphics chip or graphics card, The lack of indicator light on the num lock LED and the lack of power to the mouse would indicate that there is a major issue with the motherboard. you can try using another monitor to confirm the problem lies with the graphics, and in the case of the keyboard and mouse, swap them for a usb version, if they work, the Ps2 ports are probably damaged. I'd be thinking of replacing the motherboard
First step is to make sure that nothing is plugged into the computer except a power cord, keyboard, monitor, and mouse. If it still does it, even unplug the mouse, because a mouse going bad can easily cause what you describe. If it still does it, try a different keyboard.make absolutely sure that nothing else is plugged into the computer.
