Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
We have two computers at our house and we want to play a strategy game (in ex. age of empires etc.) against each other. Questions:
1. Would we have to buy the same game twice?
2. What would be the best way to do this? Is there a direct way to connect the computers with a cable or would on-line be the best way?
If Age Of Empires needs a CD during game play, then Yes for # 1.If not use the same CD, But I believe the host of the game play of you two, needs the CD for play.
You could read the instructions to see if a direct cable is available for use if not, you have to use the online play.
Please rate my solution and Happy Gaming!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
