Silly question, but are you sure you are getting gas through the line? Could the line from the tank be plugged? How about the tank port?

How do you replace the gas tank on a ryo 8548 gas blower

Why are you trying to remove the fuel tank just for broken fuel line?
These can be normally be replaced while the tank in still mounted using the appropriate tools.

As for removing the tank you probably need to remove that starter assembly or may need to fully disassemble the casing.

Have 2 gas lines dangling in gas tank, mcculloch 42c, 36cc, older, one line has filer other for primer????? or did it come disconnected

Hi perfecthelme...
Those are broken fuel lines your are seeing and a fuel filter inside of the tank
*******************************************************************************************
I will include a fuel routing drawing.
Before you remove any fuel lines, make a drawing or take a picture of how the lines are connected to the tank for later reference.
You will need to remove all the old fuel lines and fuel filter out of the gas tank.
Clean and remove all trash, broken pieces of fuel line, etc. from the fuel tank.
After you have all the fuel lines and filter removed.
You need a piece of wire...smaller diameter than the inside of the fuel line, insert the wire into the fuel line until it exits the fuel line then bend a hook on the end of the wire to hook over the fuel line.
You will lubricate about 1 inch of fuel line with a small amount of vasoline or light machine oil...
Now using your fingers or small needle nose pliers collapse the fuel line around the wire hook and insert it into the hole in the fuel tank.
After you have the fuel line in the tank, extend enough fuel line into the tank to exit the fill spout of the tank and remove the wire from the fuel line.
You will insert the new or cleaned fuel filter into the line and pull the fuel line to pull the filter just back into the tank.

Leaking Gas on left side of gas tank, can't tell if it's the line

More than likely you have a busted fuel line, or one of the connections from the fuel lines to the fuel pump is broken. If you know how to repair cars, drop the tank and find the leak. If you don't know how, have the vehicle towed to a shop. Driving the car would definitely be a fire hazard.

Have ryobi 35 head, does not get gas, everything ok. someone said that the gas tank has a filter clogged or line broken. primer seems to be pulling air.

If you are pulling air and you don't get enough fuel, the filter in the tank may either one that is weighted and is just placed on the end of the fuel line. Or it could be one that is attached to the tank with a nipple sticking through and held in place with a ring around the fuel line and pressed up tight to the tank, over the nipple. There is also the possibility that your fuel line is broken somewhere. If you cannot see the break, it would be inside the tank. Good luck,,,Lee

The fuel lines pulled out of my 1978 GS550 when I was replacing the clutch cable. I need help hooking them back in the right places. I don't know which are fuel lines and which are vacuum and how they...

You will have two lines coming from the petcock on the bottom of the gas tank. the small one goes to the front of the number one carb, and the larger one plugs onto the fuel rail in the middle of the 4 carbs on the back. The lines that run between the 1 and 2 carbs and the 3and 4 carbs are just overflow lines, so they don't hook on anywhere else.
