Hi,

Do you mean Drain the coolant ? If so, there should be a drain valve on the radiator on the bottom passengers side If not just undo the bottom radiator hose.

Where is the radiator drain plug located in a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix?

There is no drain plug or valve on most modern radiators. You have to remove the lower radiator hose in order to drain them.

Hi, if there is not a petcock or plug at the bottom of the radiator, you can just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the coolant. Many cars do not have drain plugs. Please let me know if you have more questions and thanks for using FixYa.

How do I change the radiator fluid in my 95 cavalier?

OK, turn the car off and use a screwdriver to remove the lower radiator clamp and drain it out there into a wide mouth container that holds a few gallons of fluid.

Then, you can replace the lower radiator hose, and fill with a 50/50 solution of radiator fluid (coolant/antifreeze) of your choice (brand wise).

This method is very good for getting a lot of fluid out quickly since the lower radiator hose is rather large compared to just opening the petcock if so equipped.

I need a serpentine diagram for a 1995 chevrolet cavalier

It is usually located on the inside of the hood on a decal, or on the radiator support. If yours is missing, ask to look at a friends car or go to a junkyard and bring your camera phone. find one and take a picture.

I need help on replacing a radiator on my 2000 chevy cavalier

Disconnect negative battery cable. If you have Delco Loc or Theftlock audio system, turn off feature which reqiers disconnecting the battery. Make sure engine is cool and turn cap slowly to release pressure. Drain cooling system. Disable airbag system by disconnecting the electrical connector from the airbag system's forward discriminating sensor located on the hood latch support bracket. Remove the cooling fan and shroud assembly. Next loosen clamps for upper and lower hoses then Disconect from radiator. Disconect the coolant reservoir inlet and outlet hoses from radiator. You will need a couple drain pans and rags. If your car has an automatic transaxle, Disconect it from the left side tank of the radiator. Use a back-up wrench on each welded nut while loosening the cooler fitting. Be careful not to bend or brake any lines when loosening the fittings. If they are tight spry some WD-40 and wait about 10 mins. Plug the ends of the disconected lines to prevent leakage. Remove right and left head lamp assembiles. Remove hood latch support brakets from radiator crossmember. Remove condenser mounting bolts. Remove the radiator upper mounting bolts located at the upper left and right ends of radiator's side tanks. Now carefully remove radiator. To install just follow directions backwards. I hope this helped.

2002 Chevrolet Cavalier

it is located at the lowest level of the radiator, and it looks like a miniature water tap. Be careful not to try to drain it when the coolant is very hot, you could get burned. You will need a very large container to hold the coolant, at least 6 gallons in size. You should be able to do it by hand if not carefully us a pair of pliers.
