Apologies for the crude diagram.

Parts in order of assembly:
1 - Spring
2 - Washer
3 - Shuttle(your white pronged part)
4 - Wax capsule/Thermostat(your black and red tube)
5 - Washer(fits over cartridge)
6 - Cartridge
The dripping is caused by the cartridge seals leaking leaking.
You can replace the cartridge as a complete unit or disassemble it, clean all parts(with descaler) and replace the seals, which is considerably cheaper

Power shower won't turn off

I thought this may be helpful as I have seen the same question a few times. A few days ago after my shower I turned the switch to off but the power motor was still running with water still coming out. I thought a new shower or at least an expensive call out. I looked up parts and decided to take a look and if needed replace a whole part or parts to save the call out costs.
the aqualisa is generally easy to dismantle as each part is substantial, if you are unsure look on their web site for the diagrams. This took me about 15 minutes and shower is working perfectly again and I was almost ready to replace parts or even a new shower at £400+. You will only need a cross head and a straight screwdriver.
-isolate the hot and cold supplies, and turn off the power.
- run the bathroom taps to reduce the water reassure and build up in the pipes.
- remove the front on/off dial
- remove the temperature control
- remove the front cover
- remove the black cover that clips over the main black cartridge, there is a black wire wrapped around the front holding the assembly in place so you have to remove the wire cluster that is secured on the right.
- you will see 4 torque screws holding the cartridge in place, these screws also have a straight screwdriver slot - loosen these, Be careful, there will be water and pressure still in the shower, allow this to spray out, it will gradually stop after about 30 seconds, now full remove the 4 screws.
- gently withdraw the cartridge
At the back of the cartridge is a small white water filter, check this and clear it, Mine was full of debris. Also check inside the recess as I found large lumps of grit from the water supply.
i believe the shower could not switch off as the grit and small debris had blocked the on off valve so water was still flowing and the pump therefore continued to run.
Now just assemble in he reverse order, turn the water supply and power on and the shower should work perfectly well.

After I realised that the turning off had felt different and it seemed to be spungy at the final bit of the turn off, I now realise this was the grit not allowing the mechanism to full close.
hope this helps someone.

Why is there no cold water coming out of my shower head

if you live some where that gets cold one of your pipes could have frozen. if you can get to the crawl space/basement put a heater down there for a few hours and leave the shower cold water on if the water comes out of the shower your pipes have thowed out. here is a video https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CDMQtwIwBGoVChMIn6q266OQyQIVAs9jCh3O6QFj&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DPbnGn9EG1mw&usg=AFQjCNEMOGXppMYQl-Rcij9L-P36CdC8Rw&bvm=bv.107467506,d.cGc good luck

There is no hot water

Hi Marshall,

Do you mean that no hot water is reaching the shower, or do you mean that no hot water is coming out of the shower. The answer to this will determine where the problem is.

If no hot water is reaching your shower, then there is probably a problem with the boiler or the pipe is blocked. You can easily test this. You can turn on other faucets in the bathroom to check whether any hot water is reaching those.

If the problem isn't with the boiler and the shower is in fact receiving hot water, then the problem will be with the shower mixer valve, specifically the thermostatic cartridge. The cartridge controls water temperature. The inner workings of the cartridge move up and down to adjust the amount of hot and cold water entering the cartridge. If it has seized up, the moving part can get stuck in a certain position. It sounds like this could be the case with you and therefore replacing the cartridge should in theory fix the problem.

Hope this helps. Shower Thermostatic Cartridge Spares

How to clean Axor Terrano Showerpipe - hot water part of mixer seems blocked

There are filter screens on the thermostatic cartridge inside this unit. You will need to remove the thermostatic cartridge and clean the filter screens. If cleaning the thermostat cartridge does not resolve the issue you may need to replace the cartridge. If you need further assistance feel free to contact me at Hansgrohe Technical services. 1-800-334-0455. prees 2 for tech and ask for David Scarborough.

Hansgrohe shower thermostat: water is getting only Lukewarm. Hot water ok in sink and throughout rest of house.

The first thing to try is cleaning the filter screens on the thermostatic cartridge. Hansgrohe thermostat valves have filter screens to protect the element from debris or water deposits. If they begin to get clogged the valve will have a hard time regulating temperature.

The thermostatic mixing spool cartridge may be worn out. The low water pressure may indicate sediment in the cartridge as well. This can be easily removed by hand tools
