Question about Refrigerators

1 Answer

Machines are used to pack sugar into packets supposedly containing 1.20 kg each. On testing a large number of packets over a long period of time, it was found that the mean weight of the packets was 1.24 kg and the standard deviation was 0.04 Kg. A particular machine is selected to check the total weight of each of the 25 packets filled consecutively by the machine. Calculate the limits within which the weight of the packets should lie assuming that the machine is not been classified as faulty.

What are the dangers of using Splenda

Artificial sweeteners have been scientifically linked to cancer, after long time use. Better to go to the natural food store and see what they have to remedy the problem, if you don't want to use refined sugars. OR, use unrefined sugar, or maple syrup, or any natural sugar that is crude and unrefined. Maybe you have diabetes though, in which case, all sugars are dangerous for you, so again check with the natural food store.

Does chocolate have any good nutrition in it?

Cocoa and chocolate contain a large number of antioxidants (flavonoids). Cocoa and dark chocolate may keep high blood pressure down and reduce the blood's ability to clot, thus the risk of stroke and heart attacks may be reduced. The darker chocolate with the most concentrated cocoa will be the most beneficial.
FAT -Cocoa beans contain approximately 50% fat. It is primarily comprised of two saturated fatty acids (palmitic and stearic acids) and one mono-unsaturated acid (oleic acid).
SUGAR - The cacao bean contains quite a lot of carbohydrates, but most of it is starch, soluble dietary fibers, and insoluble dietary fibers. A very small proportion is simple sugars.
VITAMINS - A, B1, B2, B3, C, E and pantothenic acid.
Is chocolate fattening?
Yes, chocolate is fattening. Even dark chocolate contains a lot of calories because of the large content of fat and sugar. The sugar content in chocolate is worse than the fat content regarding negative effects on health.

What are the disadvantages of protein bars?

: Even though protein bars are healthy and convenient, they do have some disadvantages:

They contain a large amount of sugars, which is bad for your teeth. Also, if you're on a cut, you're not supposed to have much simple sugars, so most protein bars will not be good during this phase.

They have low amount of calories, so they cannot be used as meal replacements to whole foods.

They contain sugar alcohol, which can cause gastrointestinal problems for some people.

When they don't contain a lot of sugar, they usually don't taste very well.

How often can you use arbonne ginger citrus sugar scrub. can it be used daily?

Sugar scrubs are a great way to exfoliate. You could use it everyday on your body, hands, and feet, but if you want to use it for your face, it is best to use it every other day to maybe every third day. While sugar is gentler on your face compared to salt, it can still irritate if done too much. So the magic number for your face is 3 to 5 times a week. Hope this helps!

Can I freeze apples whole or do they need cutting

Please allow me to give you some tips on how to freeze raw apples

Freezing apples will prolong the shelf life, and they will remain fresh for up to 12 months. However, after the apples thaw, they need to be used within a day or two because they will deteriorate quickly.

1. Select ripe sweet apples without large bruised areas. Apples that are firm will be easier to peel.
2. Rinse the apples under cold water. Dry them off with paper towels.
3. Dissolve 1/2 tsp. of ascorbic acid into 3 tbsp. of water. You will need 1/2 cup of sugar for each quart of peeled and sliced apples.
4. Peel the apples to remove the skins. Remove any brown spots from the apples with a sharp knife.
5. Remove the core from the apple. An apple corer will work best for this task; they are available at most grocery stores. Slice the apples into 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch slices. Remove the seeds, stems and hard areas of the apple.
6. Combine 1 qt. of apples with 1/2 cup of sugar and the ascorbic acid solution in a large plastic storage bag. Coat the apples evenly with the sugar and solution.
7. Pack the apple slices into freezer containers. You can also freeze the slices on a cookie sheet and then pack them into containers to prevent them from sticking together in clumps.

Thanks for consulting FixYa

Good day! : )

Hi , I recently purchased your machine and would like to know how to flavour and colour the cotton candy. I did not receive any sugar in the box , so I'm not sure what to use. Please help. P.S - Can I...

Hi pandoramagic...
This is not the company that you bought your machine from, it is an "Answer Company" we supply answers to questions people have.
You need a special sugar in the machine (read below), and you can use liquid food coloring to color the sugar/cotton candy and different liquid flavors to flavor the cotton candy.
Typical machines used to make cotton candy include a spinning head enclosing a small "sugar reserve" bowl into which a charge of granulated, colored sugar (or separate sugar and food coloring) is poured. Heaters near the rim of the head melt the sugar, which is squeezed out through tiny holes by centrifugal force. Precolored sugar packaged specially for the process is milled with melting characteristics and a crystal size optimized for the head and heated holes; granulated sugar used in baking contains fine crystals which spin out unmelted, while rock sugar crystals are too large to properly contact the heater, slowing the production of floss.
The molten sugar solidifies in the air and is caught in a larger bowl which totally surrounds the spinning head. Left to operate for a period, the cottonlike product builds up on the inside walls of the larger bowl, at which point the machine operator twirls a stick, cone, or their hands around the rim of the large catching bowl, gathering the sugar strands into portions which are served on stick or cone, or in plastic bags. As the sugar reserve bowl empties, the operator recharges it with more feedstock. The product is sensitive to humidity, and in humid summer locales, the process can be messy and sticky.

Your question is not easy to answer. An average washing machine is 8 kg. The smaller 6 kg will use less water and detergent, but you will be limited to 4 or 5 pair of jeans at one time...unless your children are small. A front loading machine may be a better choice for you. It can do very large loads, 12 kg, and still use less water and detergent than most top loaders, but be prepared to pay three times the price of a top loader.
