Hey!
I have tried for hours now, and just can't get my router to forward!!
It's because i wanna make a game server on one of my computers, and i of course want other people at the internet to see, and join my server.
But there isent anyone who can you it, exept the people on my own network, so i have tjekked in some different forums, and everybody says that i need to forward the port my server is using for the game.
I've tried the HP www.portforward.com a coupple of times, but the instructions is bad for my router, and i hope you guys can help me to an solution?
Thx already!

You didn't say what game or what router. Can't get much help unless you give us something to work with.

Thanks for the info, here you go...
I'm guessing that since you are playing on a LAN you know the internal IP address of the machine hosting the game. You have to poke holes in the internet firewall for the game to be played by friends from outside.
First, make sure your file cstrike/cfg/server.cfg has the following:
sv_lan 0
If "sv_lan 1" then you are set for LAN only.
Here are some online instructions for your router:
http://www.thinkbroadband.com/hardware/r...
A little less than half way down is a section called:
Configuring Port Forwarding, look that over.
Lets say your game server LAN IP is 192.168.0.50, here is what you would enter under each heading: (NOTE, the NAME doesn't really matter), (NOTE2, Friends is for the Steam Friends app)
NAME Start Port End Port Server IP Address
Friends 1200 1200 192.168.0.50
CSS1 27015 27015 192.168.0.50
CSS2 27020 27020 192.168.0.50
Make sure the "Active" box is checked in front of each and click The "Apply" button. That should do it. Start, or stop and re-start your game server. It should now contact Steam and register its self in the Game servers list. This can take a while, sometimes as much as 15-20 minutes. Steam has been having a few problems lately with the storms and flooding and all so there could be other problems as well.
I'm not sure how the Trend Security that comes with this will affect all this. If you are still having trouble then turn the Trend Home Network Security Services off if they are on.
If this doesn't do it then we'll have to dig a bit deeper

I have postet my problem under the:
"P-334WT Router (91003155003)" categori, so i thought you could see that..
The server is for the game Counter Strike Source, and i have used the program you see here to install a server:
http://www.srcds.com/db/engine.php?subac...
The program is called 'srcds' and stands for 'Source Dedicated Server'.
Really hope someone can help!
