I can tell you that is holds 19 gallons for a full load. If you are good at math here is a formula to figure it out.

Volume (cu. ft.) = pi times r times r times D

where,

pi = ~3.14

r = radius (feet); remember r = diameter divided by 2

a cibic foot is a measurement of a 1 ft X1 ft X 1 ft ( length X width X height)

measure your item and that will be the answer in cubic feet

you are in the washing machine category and they are not measured in cubic capacity but in pounds wash so it will be a 4 lb was or 5.5 lbs or 6 or what ever is on the model plate attached to the machine.

Calculate it yourself: Place a straight edge across the top of the unit. Measure the height from the bottom of the tub to the bottom of the straight edge. Then measure the width of the inside center of the tub and take half that number. Then use the formula below to calculate it. For example. Height 30 inches, Width 28 inches (half of 28 = 14).

V = (3.1416 x (14 x 14) x 30)/1728

= (3.1416 x 196 x 30)/1728

= 18498.48/1728

= 10.70 cubic feet.

V = (3.1416 x (14 x 14) x 30)/1728

= (3.1416 x 196 x 30)/1728

= 18498.48/1728

= 10.70 cubic feet.

Good Afternoon friend, thank you for your post!

From the information you have provided you need to know the cubic footage of your Frigidaire washer, FSE447GHS0. I have researched your model and it appears to be 4.4 cubic ft. I hope this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt

If my calculations are right, this washing machine is approximately 3.00 cubic feet. You may want to double check it for yourself, though. I used http://www.ehow.com/how_6358141_calculate-cubic-feet-washer.html (updated 5/7/2010) to help in the calculation. My machine was approx 15"/1.25' deep and 21"/1.75' high. Hope this helps.
