Question about Whirlpool Refrigerators
With whirlpool, yes. You probably hear a hum then a click afterards. This is a really common problem with this brand. Unplug the machine and take the relay which is located on the side of the compressor off. once you have done that shake it. If you hear any rattling or see any kind of black stuff come out of it replace the relay. This is a really easy job. If you have never had it changed before then I'm 99% sure thats the only problem you'll have.
