Whatever you do, don't send it to bushnell, they can't and won't fix a broken casting. Instead they want you to buy a new scope and act as if your old scope has residual value. My scope was like new, not a scratch on it until they sent it back. Looks like they packed it with broken concrete.

Doubtful that this can be repaired economically, unless you can do it yourself with glue or some sort of metal band that could be tightened around the brokenb pieces.

Why not just buy another scope.

Sounds like you have fairy rings. Yes, that's really what they are called! You can find out more here: https://www.planetnatural.com/pest-problem-solver/lawn-pests/fairy-rings/

They are frequently caused by the remains of a tree that formerly occupied that spot. There may have been remnants of the trunk left under the soil, and various fungi may now occupy the space.

Lens repair ef

I doubt it is possible to repair. These lenses are mostly made out of plastic pieces. There is probably something broken and/or bent. Lenses are manufactured with extremely great care. When a lens element is only a millimetre or two out of alignment you probably will get faulty images (flare, unsharp, focus shift, etc).
Take it to a repair shop and have them examine the lens if that's free of charge. Without photo's it is hard for me to judge if its total loss or not.

Eye pice for serial no dt2921

You will not find a manual nor will anyone service this SPOTTING scope. It has a fixed zoom eyepiece. You will not find a replacement.

NEVER BUY a Tasco or Bushnell telescope.

It "may" be possible to get this repaired at their service centers located here:
http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-warranty.html

They will want you to return the scope and pay shipping and then pay for repairs. This scope is NOT worth that kind of expense.

Simmons 8x32-44ao rifle scope

Is that the "Prairie Master"? I think Simmons is pretty uniform in that range of scopes--elevation adjustment should be the top dial and windage is on the side. The zoom locking ring should be in front of the eyepiece, with the zoom ring just forward of that.

You can download a generic Simmons scope manual from the Simmons site at this link: http://www.simmonsoptics.com/downloads/manuals/archive/HSI_Simmons%20Generic%20Scope%20Adjusting%20Instructions.pdf

Can you return the spotting scope?

I know of NO ONE that will repair this other than a regular dealer who could return it.

Just curious, why did you buy this for $300?? It's not worth that kind of money?

'zoom error' on olympus sp-560 uz

I had this problem and managed to fix it. The camera was dropped on a stone floor and the zoom error was present every time it was turned on. A ring or other piece of the lens was bent or damaged, in my non professional opinion. A profesional repair is my advice. However you may try my fix at YOUR OWN RISK.

Switch camera on, when zoom extends, but before it closes down due to zoom error, gently but firmly push lens back in. Drop batteries for camera to reset itself. Repeat, if necessary.

My camera now operates fully and when the lens extends it now no longer makes the slight grinding noise.

Good luck and remember at your own risk.
