SOURCE: Asus p5kc doesnt run 100% in Windows 7.

A lot of drivers will not work with Windows 7, at least for now. I would go to the Asus website and download the XP, Vista and 2000 or 2003 drivers for the sound and network cards you are trying to get to work. Try each one out. You may get one to work with Windows 7, but since Windows 7 is still BETA, I wouldn't hold my breathe.

Cant find p35-153-11z9 driver

Tere isn't a separate driver for the Realtek 8201CL 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller. The driver is part of the chipset software & should have been installed when you installed the Asus motherboard support CD software. (Asus K8U-X).
Double check your bios settings. Check that the onboard LAN controller is set to Enabled. See page 2-19 in your Asus manual.

(I do not know what the these mean from your post, P35-153-11z9)

If your LAN is set to enabled in the bios, try reinstalling your Asus CD software, (Chipset drivers). If the drivers still fail to install it is possible the LAN controller is defective.

Hello when i install windows my sata hard dont detect. my main board is asus k8ux hard is western 1.0tera

You are probably installing windows XP
This requires that you install the textmode sata raid drivers as you install windows

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=K8U-X&p=1&s=20

Download the RAID driver and expand it to a floppy , CD or USB drive that the computer can recognise
(USB is better)

When you install windows, at the prompt for installing other drivers press F6 and let it find the raid drivers, if it finds them, it should then recognize your hard drive and you can install windows XP

Hi ive just done a upgrade to windows 7 on my asus k8u-x and seem to have lost alot of drivers if i could just find the lan driver i could sort the rest with a driver scanner thanks

Im afraid the win 7 drivers for your motherboard isn't officially supported.

http://usa.asus.com/Product.aspx?P_ID=9A2K9jFcnqjqzAZr

Under, Download, theres only support for win 2003. You might want to try one of those drivers, but they may not be compatable with your windows version.

Cheers.

I have a problem with SATA driver on my motherboard K8U-X. how can I install windows 7

You would have to buy a PCI card that has sata ports since the ULI chipset on the mobo doesn't support new operating systems.
