Have a read at this & then phone samsung on the freephone number noted at the bottom of the article -
We managed to fix this problem by removing the back panel on the inside of the fridge & removing the ice from the element. It's a design fault that samsung will fix by replacing a part free of charge. They will also increase your warranty to 5 years when you call them. I found them really helpful.

I turned fridge off and cleaned out. It came back on all good it makes a loud noise - like noise coming from the motor or the back of the fridge. When the fridge door opens the noise stops. Nothing

The information you've provided is not worth more than small advice -- from your problem description, I assume you have a Samsung french door model or a side by side, (probably a french door) These fans only run with the door shut on the fresh food section against the back wall of the fresh food compartment.. The unit is having an icing issue on the fresh food evaporator starting to stop the fan from spinning and you very likely to stop losing your cooling soon. You could have a defrost issue, the door could have been left open too long, or you have a bad door gasket letting air into the unit, if you can message me or give me more info on this problem I will be able to assist you better instead of wasting my time going into big details about this problem without at least a model number. Thanks

Our Samsung fridge srs757dw is making weird noises(it hums loudly). When the Freezer door is open it stops but as soon as it closes the noise begins again. What do you think is the problem?

Sometimes this can be due to vibrations within the duct , possible that the ventillating fan is frosted and so makes the noise with the door closed. So shut down fridge for few hours to defrost and check. Also make sure there are no loose screws or clips on the back panel and the evporator section that can cause vibration.

My fridge - model RS583HDP started making a noise in the fridge section a few days ago, like the fan was working quite loudly and every time you openned the fridge section, the fan slowed right down and...

try to lubricate or replace bushing of your evaporator fan maybe it has awear in tear that fan hard to rotate this can cause a noise and poor circulation of air cause of temp. rise

Loud noise from the freezer side

The problem is a buildup of ice on the plastic housing (the curved plastic bit) in the back of the freezer under the fixed shelf where the icetub goes. The fan behind this plastic housing is hitting the ice when the defrost comes on.

Unplug the fridge, unpack the freezer, remove the four screws in the back, take off the sheetmetal backing and let the fridge thaw. You can remove the plastic piece after a while and get the ice off (be careful not to remove the styrofoam insulation by going too quickly).

Reassemble and you're back in business, for a few months. I'm never buying Samsung again myself.
