Question about Gateway MX6920 Notebook
When trying to burn a CD on my Gateway M-6750 laptop, I am given a message to connect a CD burner and restart. I have used the CD burner on this laptop before with great success, and am confused as to why it does not recognize that there is a CD burner installed. What should I do?
Sounds like the CD burner has gone out. First try doing a hardware search to see if it finds snd recognizes the CD burner. If not it will need to be replaced. Keep in mind that the drive may still read CD's fine without the ability to burn them.
