Repair parts for handle on Sampsonite suitcase

The handle at the top of a weekender sizes Sampsonite suitecase has what appears to be a flexible rubber central member (burried within the handle) each end of which fits into a fixed receptical on the case at each end. That rubber member has an oblong slot that provides motion that gives room for a hand between the handle and the suitcase body. The oblong slots have failed and the handle unit that includes the flexible rubber central member needs to be replaced.
