Question about LG Televison & Video
Take it back to the store and have them deal with it if your still under 60 days warranty. You have to call the manufacturer if your within the 1 year warranty. You can go to gethuman.com to get the phone #. Alternatively, you can open this up yourself if your out of warranty and replace the blown capacitor or bad resistor on the power ic board. De-solder the piece out and take it to your local electronics store to match up the specs. Then re-solder the piece back in. Most boards are flowed now a days, so soldering may not be an option unless you have a $30,000 BGA machine in your garage. Then have at it old chap, but make sure you discharge the capacitor or it will shock the hell out of you when your playing around inside.
