Yes ... I found an online site where you can purchase the receiver for $10 (USD). Look for: Receiver Replacement,2.4Ghz, Unifying

But, I have not personally purchased from this site.

Hope this helps.

I have a logitech ce0560 wireless mouse. and dont know how to turn it on and off. Thanks

I can't find that model on the logitech's site.

Anyway, I used to own a cordless mouse too (not logitech). Mine has a receiver that has to be connected to the usb port to work. Also, the unit requires to be placed near the receiver for better signal; so I choose the front panel usb.

Both the receiver and the mouse have a tiny button that should be pressed at the same time or consecutively so that they could "see each other". The button is located at the bottom of the unit, almost near the lens.

And it also requires batteries.

Thank you for using fixya. Have a nice day! ^_^

Mouse keeps disconnecting

I would check the batteries.
Then check to see if the USB connection on the sending unit is tight--you could try another USB port.
Once installed, the mouse should keep responding unless the batteries are weak. Check to be sure the batteries are inserted fully into the mouse body.

How can i install my cordless mouse with no instalation cd

place batteries in mouse.
connect The Transmitter/reciever to the pc ( probably USB) and then press the sync button under the sender if there is one, and then press the sync button under the mouse.
windows should recognize it.
To get the driver search for your model on the manufacturer's website
and download the driver ....install driver and plug mouse in.

If this does not work let me now what OS ( operating system ) you are running.
and what you are plugging the mouse into.

The device that i plug into my USB port to enable my wireless mouse, broke. How or where can i get another one so I dont have to spend $70 on another mouse?

I doubt that you will get it as a replacement part from Logitech, and even if so, with shipping and handling fees it wouldn't cost much less than a new mouse. But you always can write an e-mail to Logitech support, costs nothing...
Repairing the receiver, if you don't know an electronics hobbyist next door, will also not be very feasible.

If you don't want to buy a new set, you should look for a similar second-hand set somewhere (garage sales, flea markets etc., electronics recycling collection facilities) - it may be, that someone else has the mouse broken or in bad condition, but the receiver will be intact.

Where/how do I install the Logitech receiver to get the Logitech wirelless mouse and the wireless keyboard to operate. Where does the green circular mouse plug to on a Dell Vostro CPU?

most PS/2 type mouse and keyboard sockets are color-coded on the CPU's back panel.

violets are for keyboards. greens are for mice.
if it's usb type, plug it to any available USB port. it will be plug and play.

for wireless keyboard and mouse, you need to place the receiver away from any metallic objects so as to lengthen it's range and sensitivity.

I bought a logitech keyboard and mouse how do i connect to my computer and turn it on

It looks like a wireless keyboard and mouse. My Logitech keyboard and mouse have a USB 2.0 receiver, which plugs into any USB 2.0 port. Some have small USB receivers that look like memory sticks. It might be mounted on the bottom of the keyboard or the mouse. My receiver is a small box with a wire that runs to the back of the computer and plugs into the USB port. The receiver has a connect button to send a signal to the mouse and keyboard. Once they are installed you can use the button to make the mouse and keyboard recognized, by the OS.

The part that goes into the USB port broke off in the port. How do I procure a replacement? This happened as I accidently bumped it while moving my laptop.

Searching the web for that P/N shows the model is the V200 mouse. You mean you want a replacement USB receiver (not antenna, since that's just a small part inside the receiver). Logitech sells some replacement receivers (usually $10 + S/H). Contact Logitech Sales at 800-231-7717 (US and Canada only), see the Contact page, or check the Support->Downloads + Parts section as some models now list receivers there for sale.

You can also E-mail Support.

If it is covered by the warranty: Less than 30 days since purchase, you need to exchange it where you got it.
After 30 days, you would be covered under the 3 or 5 year warranty from Logitech.
See here for RMA info.
