Hi,

There are free tools available on the internet that you can dowload onto a different pc and create a bootable disk which will then allow you to reset the password. Suggest you have a look at http://www.wikihow.com/Recover-a-Forgotten-XP-Password

Suggest you try method 5. Other than that, if you need to get info off the hard drive, choose method 6 to get the info off the hard drive before formatting.

Hope that helps

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Get past loolst admin password/gateway/vista

You will need a friend and his/her computer to help you with this. On their computer, download a program named " Windows Password Recovery Tool" to a CD. You will need to go into your BIOS to have your first boot item as the DC Rom for this to work. Place the CD in the drive, boot up, and follow instructions. This will erase your Admin password, and allow you to get into the computer. Afdter that you can select a new password, but would be a good idea to write it down this time. Good luck.

I cannot log on, i cannot remember password

Hi.

If you can not remember the password, try logging into another user account with Admin rights and change the password for your account of there is another admin account in the computer.

Other option, as computers will have a default admin account, try booting to computer to safe mode, generally the account is not password protected until the user decides to assign a password.

Finally, if nothing works, you may use third party applications to boot into the Computer( e.g. Nopix).

Otherwise, use a OS disc and format the computer reinstall the OS.

Thanks!!!!

Hi, some router password questions i have lost my router password any ideas to recover my old password?

You can find it in router configuration page. Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then click on wireless settings then wireless security then note down the WEP key it is your password to connect wifi. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

I lost my admin account password how do i get back on without reseting the whole computer

hi

there is a way to reset the admin password which only a few people know
for this we need to have the operating system disc, since this is a sophisticated troubleshooting in which you boot up the computer using the operating system disc and at a particular point during the installation we press a combination of shift +f10
in case if you want it to be resolved without resetting the computer and loosing any of your data i would suggest that you perform the troubleshooting under the supervision of a good technician

good luck

Is it your computer...lol. None of my bussiness but if I were you try to save all of the files that you can...the ones you cant live without...and restart your computer with your disk. Format your hard drive and install windows.

Otherwise the default password is admin admin. username and password. :P
