How can i lock my hhone model KX-T7730 - Panasonic KX-T7730 Corded Phone

The KX-T7730 does not have a battery. It's powered by the PBX system; this is normal for corded phones. The 7730 is a Panasonic Analog System phone. It plugs into a Key Service Unit and the line port plugs into the PAP2T device. Model numbers like KXT-A624/824 are examples.

Now here's a question for a public forum. Who locked it? Is it outdial restricted in that you have a flashing light, or is it electronic station lock?

Both of these cases are covered in the Administration manual.

since panasonic kx-t7730 does not have a delete option
we can however replace the number to a another number or a dummy number as per the model
KX-TA624 ....PRESS 2 *
KX-TA1232...PRESS 3 0
.... TYPE DESIRED NUMBER(eg: 0000)
AND HANDUP

Do you need the default lock code because you already did this, or is it locked and you can't unlock it?

This is probably close, but in the American version it's 77 lock lock # to set and 77 lock # to release, where lock is a 4 digit number.

The System manager can release all locks from their phone. You'll have to make arrangements with an "engineer" to get those codes.

The electronic station lock requires a couple of things, first it's dependent on the system, second, it requires some toll restriction programming, and then you can put in a lock code. At a minimum, in a TA-824 series, dial 77 xxxx xxxx #, where xxxx is a 4 digit number repeated twice. That locks the set, but it might not do anything different. It's released by 77 xxxx #. If you need help, consult your programming and features manual, or post back with the model of your phone system. Carl
