Hi i have had a same problem, but when the monitor on my treadmill stopped i followed the wireing to the control panal and found that a fuse had blown. it tock me a long time but was worth it, now i have cut the main power wire connecting to the monitor and put in my own fuse kit with a higher volt. you can get these cheap from maplins. and if your cant find any fuses etc then i would take the monitor off and take it to any car audio shop and they will test if. hope i have helped
