I dont know how much ram do tuo have .If 256 or more may be hdd is affected by bad sector .download ontrack dm go for zerro fil if you have hbcd or any bootable cd where have the different dm go to bios .>restart >prees f2 or f4 or del go bios set boot piority cd rom >f 10>enter>when dos mode go to dm by select the actual drive ( drive letter >shift+:)enter>cd DM enter >ontrack enter >advance option> maintance >uttility>zerofil>select drive >yes enter.It will be possible if you know the D.O.S
