Question about Tecnik 24 in. TKD795/3 Built-in Dishwasher

Not cleaning at all - most dishes end up being washed by hand afterwards

My Tecnik built-in dishwasher rarely cleans anything properly.  We usually end up having to unload it after a wash cycle and do everything by hand.  We have taken all the filters out and cleaned several times, run cleaning cycles with specialist cleaners, made sure the salt and rinse aid are topped up etc., tried different powders/tabs - but nothing works.  We still have the same problem.  There are no problems with the actual running of the dishwasher or draining etc.  It simply does not clean.  I am lucky if 2 or 3 items come out clean enough to put away.  Any help would be appreciated as very frustrating problem.

I've got the same problem, and have tried all the things Sara has tried.  We were on the verge of calling in someone, as we have been handwashing for 3 weeks (and we have a large family!).  Now - does anyone know how I can tell if the arms are rotating or not, or if it may be a pump problem?  Many thanks, Shoshana.

Hi there!

You've done the basics, so we'll treat it as a fault due to wear.

When running, do you hear the spray arms rotating - about twice a second?

If the water is actually reaching the dishes, bur the arms are not rotating, you may need replacement spray arms.

If the water is not even reaching the dishes with any force, The circulation pump may be faulty and needs replacement.

Hope this helps you.

Dishes not cleaning after full cycle running

Your screens are plugged with food residue in the bottom of the unit. clean it out. You can use 1 gallon of white vinegar for your wash after you clean the screens. Start your washer to fill with water but after the water starts, open your door and pore all of the gallon in the unit. Let it now run for 4 minutes and stop it by opening the door. Leave the door slightly open for 1 hour. close the door and let the cycle continue for 4 more minutes. open the door and repeat it a couple of more times. Let it sit all night with the vinegar in it and in the morning - close the door and let the cycle continue to the end. This should help soften and clean out the food particles in the unit. You can repeat the process and get a better cleaning then too. All the scale should be off your dishes now.

Miele Dishwasher G841 - Water not draining after wash cycle

If you suspect the dish washer, try discharging the drain in a bucket. After the drain cycle check the wash tub. If water is still left, you have to clean the drain filter attached to the bottom. Refer user guide.

The final drain end of the dish washer where you discharge, the fixing junction has to be cleaned, incase it is clogged.

Dishes not getting clean! and the soap dispenser rarely opens as it should

make sure filter at the bottom of the unit is sparkling clean. dishwashers do not make miracles...clean excess food remains before putting your dishes in the unit. Use good soap. The 5 in 1 finish are usually very good

You need to clean the 2 rotors properly and that also includes the sieve. Make sure once the dishes are stacked, the rotors must turn freely by hand.

Water not hot

Dishwashers are suppose to be hooked up to hot water. If you had hotter water it would clean just fine. 120 deg or more!

Dishes won't come clean

If you have dishes (typically cutting boards or really tall dishes) that block the dispenser door from opening, the water cannot wash out all the detergent during the wash cycle. Check to see that after loading the dishes, your detergent door has clearance.
