Question about Kenmore 3.8 cu. ft. HE3 Front Load Washer
Washing machine HE 3t stopped mid cycle (I think it was overloaded) an error code appeared (can't remember the code). I took out the clothes cleared the cycle. But now when I try to start a new cycle the machine won't lock. I unplugged the machine for several days and plugged back in all the lights are on I can choose a cycle but when I push start noting happens because the door won't go into lock mode. It has a new door lock so I know that can't be the problem. Do I need to check the wires? If so how do I do that. Thank you for your help?
Do you hear a small clicking noise? if so remove top coner 3 screws in back..on back wall at top edge plastic box with wires is main control bd try moving connectors up and down as you press start button if door locks and machine works bad connection on inside of control replace control or cheap fix try shimming connector in postion where it will work may last a bit longer(belive connectors are green plugs)
