One of the cartridges may not be seated correctly. Open the door and remove all the cartridges. Close the door and power the printer on. Then, replace each toner one at a time, closing the door in between each one. This should allow you to determine which toner is not seated correctly. Remove and reseat that cartridge. Clear any foreign debris from the area. You may have to replace that cartridge in the event it is defective.

Printer HP 1315 shows "Door Open" and does not respond to printing call

This is a more common occurrence than you might expect. The "door" referred to in the error message is actually the portion of your machine that must be lifted up in order to gain access to the ink cartridges for replacing them. You will notice that a protrusion on the lower side of the "door" surface fits into an opening in the surface below the door when the door closes, and this contacts with the door status switch to close the contacts on the switch, telling the machine that the "door" is closed. If indeed the door is fully closed, with nothing obstructing the switch from performing, then that would indicate that either the switch is defective or has come loose. After replacing cartridges, the "door" must be fully closed or you will see the error message. For troubleshooting procedures to solve this problem, go to this link:

A test print page may show distorted characters at the beginning, but the characters should be shown correctly towards the end of the test page. If this is not the case then I would suspect that at least one of your cartridges is not seated properly. Open the cartridge access "door," and check the cartridge positions. When you remove and replace a cartridge, the new cartridge should be pushed back as far as it will go and then the front end of the cartridge lifted until you hear it snap into place. When seated properly, the top of the cartridge will be level.

Lexmark c734dn door closed but printer eads door is still open

Power off the printer. Unplug it, actually a few hours. So if this is at work, unplug it before you leave and plug it back just after you arrive.

My printer ESP5210 is showing error codes 3501,3606,3507. What can i do to fix this

To resolve this error, close the printer access door. The printer will not operate while the door/cover is open.
If the error continues even after you close the printer access door, power cycle the printer:
  1. Turn off the power (press the On/Off button on the printer).
  2. Unplug the printer power cord from the back of the printer.
  3. Wait approximately 30 seconds.
  4. Plug the printer power cord into the back of the printer.
  5. Turn on the power to the printer.

Have you checked the cartridges access door?
If so,try disconnecting the printer and leaving it for a long period [like 1hr] before connecting again.

My Ricoh aficio 450 copier shows a error that says: close door for relay. I have closed all the covers and doors and still get the same error message.

The relay door is the door on the lower right side, below the duplex unit. Check this door -- it may not be closed all the way, or the actuator (the piece of plastic that sticks off the door and is the part that blocks the sensor) may be broken. If neither of these is the case, the sensor may be bad.

Well, here is the proper way of fixing or troubleshooting that paper jam error in your printer

Open the printer access door and remove both of the ink cartridge, then remove also the printhead, after that close the printer access door, without those parts. Then it will show a message in the printer screen, "Printhead is missing or has come loose" or "Printhead Not Detected" Install the printhead, just the printhead without the ink cartridges. After that close the printer access door. Then it will show you a message"Ink cartridges is not installed, install ink cartridges". then open again the printer access door, then install the black ink cartridge without the color ink cartridge. then close the printer access door, then message must be " Color ink cartridge is not installed, install color ink cartridge" then install the color ink cartridge." the message must be,"New printhead is detected calibration require, load paper and press start"

Thats the way of overiding the paper jam error message of your kodak all in one printer
hope this will help you guys
