Go to this site http://206.108.48.60/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=386&tab=3 and download the correct BIOS and the flash file is also there, before you flash it make sure you have the newer (.bss extension) bios file downloaded. Also have the internet connected and it can check online and do it for you too.

How to tweak your computer

Step 1
Back up important files. This includes impotant datas stored on your computer
Step 2
Update the firmware of your computers BIOS. Also update or patch your OS to the lates update and even your hardware devices must be updated as well.
Step 3
Also before proceeding ,remember to get a BENCHMARK test program that will help you see the changes and also monitor the temp. of your processor after overclocking
Make sure that your BIOS is also set to shutdown once illegal voltage or temp. will be detected
Step 4
Ensure that the CPU FAN is clean and is still calibrated to the right rpm
Step 5
Power on your unit ,hit the hotkey to access setup. On the BIOS go to ADV. CHIPSET option. Then look for"clocks, "frequency/voltage control" or "voltage options." This will look unique on each brand of computer. You can overclock by modifying "CPU bus frequency" or "CPU FSB frequency." Increase this value slightly. In some cases, you will be able to increase your "CPU multiplier" through the BIOS.If your BIOS has none of these options, your motherboard is not capable of overclocking the processor.
Step 6
You can also try overclocking your MEMORY AND VIDEO speed. Some motherboards have this options on the BIOS as well
Step 7
You can consult your motherboards manual to know the operating voltage of your cpu or type in the model of the board on yahoo or google.

Overclocking

Overclocking is set from the BIOS configuration. Not all BIOS allows overclocking, it may need a BIOS upgrade.
Check the ASUS WEB site for your model motherboard.
Overclocking the CPU (ie running at a higher clock speed) and increasing Frontside bus speed will give better performance BUT there is a downside too, if you overclock too high you could overheat the CPU and it could fail.

OverClocking Problem when startup my system

Most motherboards have settings that allow the board to try and overclock itself upon bootup. Take a look in your manual and it should lead you to the correct setting in the bios that will allow you to have the computer boot up in normal mode. Failing that, you may have to force the motherboard back to the default setup. There is a jumper you would have to move, then you would remove the battery from the motherboard. Check your manual for how to clear the CMOS settings if you need to do that step.

Overclocking locked on 945gct-m2 mobo

There is no overclocking settings for this motherboard, the CPU speeds and core settings are automatically determined. You may be able to find a modified bios somewhere, but i would strongly suggest this not be done. A bad bios, or bad flash can essentially turn the motherboard into an expensive paperweight.

Overclock an Intel E6300 on a GA-8I945GZME-RH motherboard

You need to check your BIOS. If you can overclock you will see a selection for CPU and speed in BIOS. If not there then your motherboard does not allow you to overclock your CPU.

Overclocking Pentium 3 667 MHz on MSI MS-6198 Motherboard

some pentiums are locked at the set speed but there are no jumpers you have to alter the settings are in the bios eg the timing and there may be step ups to increase the processor speed, but remember you get far faster response times by fitting more memory as overclocking can cause overheating and crashes.

Some Help Please...

Hi,

You can try picking up a BIOS for a PC Chips M810DLU from the company's website here. You need to remember all the usual precautions when flashing.

Please do not expect much improvement or stability when overclocking a PCChip motherboard.

Good luck and kind regards.
