From your description you have correctly performed all above cleanings and test. So you need to check the limit switch on the frond group door and the coffee drawer switch. You can press them with a screw driver and check if the red light goes off.

If it goes off then you need to adjust the limit switch that is bad. However if the problem insist and all look fine then the red lamp is due to a burned boiler heating element and it is one part with the boiler and you need to be replaced.

Your model has the same parts as the SAECO VIENNA model so you can match any internal part with this model if you don't find it.

We have a link with model VIENNA so you can find parts drawings and also the parts photos for your help. You can even contact them directly for any further help and they will be more than happy to help you.

Clean instructions

First, let me clarify what the red light indicates.

A solid red light indicates the cleaning cycle is in progress. A blinking red light indicates the coffeemaker is off, but due to be cleaned. When the coffeemaker is due to be cleaned, the red light will continue to blink while the coffeemaker is off until the cleaning cycle has been completed fully. The entire cleaning process takes about an hour and a half. And, it is not intuitive. So, here are my instructions.

With the coffeemaker off (with the red light blinking), pour four cups of pure white vinegar (no water added) into the reservoir. Don't short the amount. You'll need four cups to complete the cycle. Remove any filters, but leave the strainer basket in place. Tap the "select" button three times until the red light is on (and stays on, not blinking). The cleaning cycle now begins. It should take between 45 minutes and an hour to complete. Don't be concerned about the 30-minute long pause during the cycle when nothing happens. This is intentional and part of the cycle.

After the cleaning cycle has completed, get rid of the vinegar. Rinse out the strainer basket and the coffee pot. Run a full pot of clean water thru a regular brew cycle (with the pot and basket in place, of course). Then, dump the water, rinse the pot and basket again, and run another full pot of clean water thru a regular brew cycle. Dump that water too. And, you're done!

I presume you are requesting instructions for cleaning this coffeemaker...

Barista supremo thinks it doesn't have coffee beans

http://www.espressotec.com/media/downloads/57/SA1260_Odea_Giro_plus_manual.pdf The red light comes on, doesn't it? The light indicates that the water tank could be empty or the drip tray is full. Tell the coffee machine that it has enough beans, but to please the machine you will fill the water tank and empty the drip tray. Good luck, kolbrun

Red light won't stop flashing. Parts are in place

Be sure all coffee grounds are cleaned from beneath the water tray and the grounds tray and the coffee brew group. We had the same problem but finally redid everything, including cleaning the coffee brew group under hot water, drying and replacing carefully until it clicked in place. The moving parts of brew group have to be in exactly the right place. Good luck!

Drip tray is filling up with water sooner than in

Hi
Either your grind is very coarse or your injector seal is bad. The injector is behind the brew unit and has 2 orange O-rings on it. See if you can wiggle the injector?

Empty Drip Tray message

Try to clip off the tray contacts and clean behind them. If they are dirty and wet on the backside the machine will keep asking you for Empty tray. Use a small screwdriver and clip them off from the inside of the tray

New Saeco Odeo Go has solid red exclamation mark, doesn't budge

You have to 'manually' prime the pump: When the red exclamation mark shows, press the water switch on the right side (the picture of the water drip), then open up the steam nozzle and let the machine pump hot water into a cup until the red light goes out.

No coffee

I had a similar problem with my XP 7240 with the coffee not coming out, but dripping through the machine and out the back. I found that overtime, there was a buildup of coffee in the "pod" area or percolation chamber and this was not properly removed. As a result, with additional cups being made, there was so much coffee compacted that it couldn't drip through.

I managed to clean it out by breaking up the compacted grains and it all worked fine. I also find that after each cup made, there is always some coffee grains left on the coffee cleaning tray above the grounds collector. I figured that this was the culprit as these grains would drop into the percolation chamber - adding this to the normal amount of coffee grains. It was never effectively cleaned out.

Now, I remove that tray after each cup, empty the grains and it seems OK. It's a pain, but I haven't had the problem for 2 months now.

Every now and then, I also get the vacuum cleaner and try to **** anything that might be oin there out.
