Question about Heating & Cooling
Just screw it in place of the old one and plug the wires onto the board. If you need to identify which wire is which, just search online for HVAC wiring connections. There are thousands of websites that describe what each wire goes to. The terminal markings are standard for any brand name. R=24v, Y=compressor, O=reversing valve - for heat pump, W or E=heat coils inside(for when it's too cold to run H. Pump), C=common - other wire from 24v transformer. And, on a board like that, there will be 2 "D" or "Def" terminals, for the sensor on the copper tubing.
