One thing to check is to be sure you have a good ground that can sometimes cause similar problems.

Fuses amp

Yes, your amplifier needs the amout of fuses as there are fuse ports.
In case something were to go wrong it would blow the fuses instead of your amp and subs and burning your wire harness up..

I hope this helps.

I accidently reversed the power wire and ground wire.

you could have taken out anything from a protection diode to some switching transistors.

Amp has proper wiring and voltage to it.will not come on and fuses are good

make sure your remote wire has a good connection, and make sure you have a good ground you might have to scrape a little paint where you ground it out

Amp Not working!

If the amp goes into protect mode, it's likely due to shorted output transistors. To eliminate other possible problems, read through the following page:

Amp in Protect Mode - Troubleshooting

If the problems are not with the wiring, follow the link at the bottom of the page to the Amplifier Repair Primer page.

POWER ACOUSTIK - A1800DB how to fix protection mode

If I don't ask the stupid questions first, I always get burned! Have you tried removing both the +12V and remote connections from the amp and letting it sit for a few minutes? If the amp doesn't automatically reset (and you have removed the condition that caused it in the first place), your amp may need repair, as it might have shorted something internally.
