Question about Dishwashers

Kelvinator Dish Washer Model KD14SS sometimes give E3 error code on Econo Wash program. (Longer Heating time, but not reaching required temp.) What can the problem be?

    Mine's doing the same now. Claremont Home Appliance Doctor tells me it's likely the thermostat or element. Machine works perfectly otherwise. Did you ever solve your issue?

E3 Error


the E3 error is a result of water temperature not getting to a nominal value within a particular time. This could be caused by several factors like heater faulty, wash pump not working well, wash arms not circulating water as required. Need model number to help you further pin point if possible.

Refer this site for 60 inch dishwasher and this site for 45 inch ones.

Kenwood diswasher kdw243a/a e3 fault code?


e3 means there was a longer heating time but not reaching required temperature could be a malfunction of temperature sensor or of heating element. E3 is a temperature error. There are two theromstats, 90 degrees and 78 degrees. I suggest you to call the competent person to substitute either of these thermostats.

First try to reset the d/w. Just turn it off at the circuit breaker for ten minutes.

E3 - Non Release of Tablet


The E3 code means - Longer heating time.Not reaching required temp. Cause - Malfunction of temp. sensor or heating element. Good luck !
