I have the same problem with before that my cousin's mp3 player is not working because she put a corrupted song and all the songs are not playing anything at all.
What I did is I connect her MP3 into my laptop using a usb cable and then start copying or transferring all the songs and the files i it and save it in a new folder. Do not touch the operating system of the MP3. Only songs, movies, picture and others. After copying, delete all those you copy from MP3 player.
Start playing each song into the computer and if it plays, you can start transferring it to MP3 player. Then try to play it there and if all plays well. Then do the same thing to the rest of the song and movies, pictures, play all the songs and when it played well. That how you can detect if the songs is corrutped or not.
I am help you solve this problem.
